NFT platform Nifty’s has announced that it will be partnering with Warner Bros. to initiate sales of a limited number of NFT characters from the upcoming “Space Jam: A New Legacy” movie.
Space Jam is one of the first major cinemas to offer collectible NFTs. Warner Bros. company will give a finite number of NFTs to every fan who signs up with Nifty’s and claims their reward. Fans will be able to receive an additional NFT by posting the cinema’s NFT collection on social media.
NFT collections include five levels of 2D or 3D animations, including Lebron James and eight Looney Tunes characters. Nifty’s also announced a $10 million startup round yesterday, involving investors including Samsung Next, Coinbase Ventures, Polaroid, and A&T Capital.
The sequel to the 1996 mixed live-action/animated sports comedy starring Michael Jackson, “Space Jam: A New Legacy” will hit theaters on July 16 in the United States and on HBO Max.
