Polish markets fell at close of trade; WIG30 down 0.44%

Investing. com – Polish stocks fell after close on Thursday Media, Telecommunication and Food Producers.

With the Warsaw stock exchange closing WIG30 fell 0.44%.

WIG30 and exhibited the best performance of the session, KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA: KGH) trades at 190.10, up 1.51% or 2.82 points. Meanwhile, Powszechna Kasa Oszczednosci Bank Polski SA (WA: PKO) traded at 37.46, up 1.38% or 0.51 points Mercator WA (WA: MRCP) trades at 264.15, up 1.13% or 2.95 points.

Worst performance of the session Enea SA (WA: ENAE) fell 3.18%, or 0.28 points, to close at 8.52. Eurocash SA (WA: EUR) traded at 13.60, down 2.93% or 0.41 points, while Cyfrplsat (WA: CPS) trades at 31.71, losing 2.25% or 0.73 points.

While the number of shares that lost value in the Warsaw Stock Exchange was 360, those that gained value were determined as 207. In addition, 116 shares remained stable.

Crude Oil WTI Futures for August delivery lost 1.13%, or 0.83, to trade at $72.30 a barrel. In commodities, on the other hand, Brent Oil Futures for September delivery fell 0.98%, or 0.73%, to trade at $74.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Gold Futures for August delivery rose 0.16%, or 3.00, to $1 an ounce. It sees the process at 828.00 level.

EUR/PLN is up 0.47% to trade at 4.5806, while USD/PLN is up 0.75% to trade at 3.8809.

Dollar Index Futures traded at 92,653, up 0.27%.
