World-renowned online payment company PayPal opened its weekly limit on cryptocurrency purchases at $20,000 in November. PayPal announced yesterday that it has increased the cryptocurrency purchase limits for its US users to $100,000 a week, without any annual restrictions.
According to the news on The Block site, Jose Fernandez da Ponte, one of the company’s crypto money leaders, mentioned the ever-changing needs of customers in his announcement and drew attention to the increase in purchase limits as well as PayPal’s efforts to expand its crypto money education services.
PayPal’s cryptocurrency platform is under surveillance. In this context, users cannot withdraw their digital assets to a different wallet at random. Expectations continue about when the company will allow withdrawal processes outside of its platform.
