Mexican markets fell at close of trade; S&P/BMV IPC fell 0.28%

With the Mexican stock market closing S&P/BMV IPC fell 0.28%.

While the number of stocks that lost value in the Mexican Stock Exchange was 177, those of the expensive ones were 93. In addition, 19 shares remained stable.

Gold Futures for August delivery gained 0.64%, or 11.40, at $1 an ounce. It sees the process at 788.20 level. Elsewhere in commodities, Crude Oil WTI Futures for August delivery rose 0.03%, or 0.02, to trade at $75.25 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent Oil Futures for September delivery were up 0.58%, or 0.44, at $76.28 a barrel.

USD/MXN is down 1.08% to trade at 19.7705 while EUR/MXN is down 0.98% to trade at 23.4520.

Dollar Index Futures traded at 92,243, down 0.38%.
