French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire said that reforming the pension system is their absolute priority and that this issue can be discussed in next year’s presidential election campaign. However, Le Maire also emphasized that as the government, they should focus on the effort with COVID-19 right now.
“Pension reform is an absolute, real priority. In politics, you need to know how to do them at the right time, step by step. However, right now is not reform, but the time of effort with the pandemic,” said Le Maire. “There will be a module,” he said.
